Usage of unregistered applets

The unregistered applets ("shareware") are free to use for everyone on any type of website.

You are allowed to:

• Modify the applet as described in the applet's readme and/or license files. Generally you can change functionality by changing the HTML parameters.
• Redistribute the applet in it's original state (the version distributed on RealApplets).

You are not allowed to:

• Alter images like logo's and backgrounds, unless explicitly stated.
• Decompile the code.
• Reverse-engineer the code.
• Claim authorship of the code.

Usage of registered applets

You are allowed to:

• Modify the applet by changing the applet's parameters.
• Use the applet on the domain you registered for if it is registered with key, if it was shipped as full version you can use it on any domain you own or work for.
• Alter all images.

You can not:

• Decompile the code.
• Reverse-engineer the code.
• Claim authorship.

Some applets have the possibility to register with source code, these rights will be described for each applet.

Linking to RealApplets' content

• You are allowed to link to all public pages on the RealApplets domain, unless explicitly stated not to do so. Some pages should not be linked to, e.g. demo's of full versions, this will be mentioned.
  However it is advised to host the applets yourself, since they can always be used for free and are quick and easy to set up. Linking should only be done for listings and search directories. Also we can not guarantee that our applets will stay at those locations.
• If you would like to place a link to RealApplets.com, you can find HTML code and images in the links section. Of course you can place a link like you want to also.

Usage of images and copyrighted text

You can not use any of the website's images or text without permission. To obtain a logo, other artwork and descriptions please take a look at the extra section. If you can not find what you are looking for, please contact the webmaster. Tutorials and articles can be obtained with permission.

Source code

Source code is not included in the applets and not given, source code can be bought for several applets. However agreements with registered users can be made (e.g. to check the security of the code).
Students and people seeking to learn Java can find lots of useful information and code in the links, help and extra sections.

Authorship

All applets featured on RealApplets are entirely written by RealApplets. This will be stated in the shareware versions.
You are not obliged to add a link to us if you use our applets, if you would like to mention who the author is please write "Created by RealApplets.com".
