When unsubscribing, no personal action from our side is required. You directly interact with the mailinglist database, so when it says you have unsubscribed, it means that your address has been deleted from our database. You can test this by trying to unsubscribe the same e-mail address again, it won't work, because it can't find the address anymore. "No nonsense" politics here.
